Procedure

Step 1: Peel and chop the raw banana into small pieces

Step 2: Pre-heat oil for talimpu and temper the spices

Pre-heat oil in a pan for tempering (talimpu). Let the flame stay at medium. When the oil is sufficiently hot, add and temper the spices one after another in a second gap: Bengal gram, black gram, dry red chilies, cumin seeds, and mustard seeds.

Step 3: Add curry leaves and sauté for a few seconds
