Wheat Dosa, also known as Atta Dosa or Godhuma Attu, is a quick and healthy alternative to the traditional rice-based dosa. Procedure

Step 1: Prepare the Batter

In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of wheat flour. Add salt to taste and 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds. Gradually pour in water while stirring continuously to form a smooth, lump-free batter.

Step 2: Ensure Batter Consistency

Stir the batter thoroughly to ensure there are no lumps. The batter should be smooth and free-flowing.

Step 3: Adjust the Batter Thickness

The batter should be similar to regular dosa batter or slightly thinner. If needed, adjust the consistency by adding more water. Optionally, you can add an extra teaspoon of cumin seeds for enhanced flavor.

Step 4: Heat the Tawa

Preheat a dosa tawa or non-stick pan over medium heat. Add a few drops of oil and spread it evenly.

Step 5: Pour the Dosa Batter

Once the tawa is hot, pour a ladleful of batter onto the center of the tawa. Gently spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa.

Step 6: Cook the Dosa

Cook the dosa on medium flame until the edges start to lift. Drizzle a few drops of oil around the dosa. Flip it over and cook the other side until golden brown.

Step 7: Serve Hot

Transfer the hot wheat dosa to a serving plate. It is best enjoyed immediately and is not recommended for lunch boxes as it may become dry.
