Mokkajonna ginjalu (Corn): 1/2 kg

Fresh corn kernels ready for grinding

Allam, Pachimirapa (Ginger, Green Chillies): 25 grams, 8

Biyyam Pindi (Rice Flour): 100 grams

Rice flour used to thicken the vada batter

Jeelakarra (Cumin Seeds): 2 tsp

Karivepaku (Curry Leaves): 2 stems

Fresh curry leaves for seasoning the vada

Chopped Onion: 2 medium-sized

Sliced onions to be mixed into the vada batter

Salt: As per taste

Oil: To fry

Procedure

Step 1: Prepare the Corn Mixture

Blend 1/2 kg Corn with 2 tsp Cumin Seeds, 25 grams Ginger, 4 green Chillies, 1 stem Curry Leaves, and Salt.

Step 2: Add Rice Flour

Add 100 grams Rice flour to the corn paste. Add more rice flour if necessary for thickness.

Step 3: Shape and Fry the Vada

Add Onions to the mixture, shape the batter into small round patties, and fry in oil until golden brown.
