Custard Halva

Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
Milk: 1/2 litre
Sugar: 10 Tsp
Custard powder: 6 Tsp
Ghee: 1/4 Tsp
Procedure
Step 1 : Heat 1/2 litre milk, get it to boil and put it in simmer
Step 2 : Meanwhile take 1/2 cup cold milk and mix 6 table spoons custard powder (So as to avoid lumps)
Step 3 : Now take 10 to 12 table spoons sugar and add it to the boiling milk
Step 4 : After 2 minutes add the custard powder mixed milk slowly and at the same time keep mixing it
Step 5 : Let it cook for 5 to 7 min, sim till it thickens, stop it when you see bubbles
Step 6 : Take one plate and apply 1/4 tsp ghee to that plate (So that custard will not stick to the plate)
Step 8 : Pour the cooked custard into the plate. Let it cool down
Step 7 : Once it cools down, cut in to pieces, you can garnish with badam, kaju or cherry, tastes better when refrigerated, kids love this as evening snack :)
