Ulli Chekkalu Onlion Rice Crackers

Ingredients for 15 pieces

Biyyam pindi (Rice Flour) : 1/4 kg

Rice Flour

Nanabettina Senagapappu (minimum 60 minutes soaked Red Gram) : 1 small cup

Soaked Bengal Gram Dal 2

Jeelakarra (Cumin Seeds) : 1 tsp

Jeelakarra

Salt : 1 tsp ( As per taste)

Pala meegada (Milk Cream) : 1 tsp

Pachimirapakaya mukkalu (Chopped Green Chillies) : 4 or 5

Ullipaya Mukkalu (Chopped Onions) : 2 medium size

Karivepaku (Sliced Curry Leaves) : 2 Stems

Procedure

Step 1 : Mix 1/4 kg Rice flour with chopped Onions, Soaked Red Gram, 1 tsp Cumin Seeds, 1 tsp Salt, Curry Leaves, 1 tsp Milk Cream, chopped Green Chillies with water smoothly

Dough must be little smoother than Chapathi Dough

Step 2 : Prepare round and thick chekkalu on clean cover by applying little oil for hands and cover

S 02 Round Chekkalu

Step 3 : Slowly leave Chekkalu into heating oil to fry in high flame

S 03 Fry In Oil Ulli Chekkalu

Step 4 : Fry till golden brown colour
