Peanut Sauce

Preparation time: 5 minutes

 

Ingredients

Pallilu (Pea Nut) : 100 grams

Pachimirapa (Green Chillies) : 4

Chillies

Endumirapa (Dry Red Chillies) : 4

Red Chillies

Karivepaku (Curry Leaves) : 1 stem

Curry Leaves

Chintapandu paste (Tamarind Paste) : 1 tsp

Tamarind Paste

Jeelakarra (Cumin Seeds) : 1/2 tsp

Sugar : 1/4 tsp

Salt : 1 tsp (As Per Taste)

Oil : 1 tsp

Procedure

Step 1 : Fry Pea Nuts in a pan with or without Oil

Fried Ground Nuts 2

Step 2 : Fry 4 Green Chilles, 4 Dry Red Chillies, 1 stem Curry Leaves in 1 tsp Oil for 2 to 3 mins

Fry Green Chillies Curry Leaves Dry Red Chillies In Oil

Step 3 : Let them cool, add fried Pea Nuts, Green Chillies, Dry Red Chillies, Curry Leaves, 1 tsp tamarind Paste, 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds, Salt (as required), 1/4 tsp Sugar in blender

S 03 Blend Tamarind Paste Salt Cumin Seeds Green Chillies Curry Leaves Fried Ground Nut

Step 4 : Blend as it is for 2 times and then add required amount of water for thickness of your wish

S 04 Blend Chutney

Talimpu is not necessary

Peanut Sauce (Palli Pachadi) is ready to serve with Idli, Vada, Dosa, Green Gram hotchpotch
